What does 10,000 lux tell me?
Lux measures illuminance at a given position. The BOXelite, Mini LUXOR, LUXOR and TRAVelite II each have a manufacturer-stated 10,000-lux measurement at a specified distance; the stated distances differ by model.
How does BOXelite differ from the compact lamps?
The BOXelite has a 12 × 15-inch luminous panel and is specified to provide 10,000 lux at up to 14 inches. Mini LUXOR is a smaller pyramid format with a 20 W LED system; its stated 10,000-lux distance is up to 10 inches.
Are all four lamps LED?
No. BOXelite is specified as a 72 W light box with fluorescent lamps. Mini LUXOR and LUXOR have LED systems. TRAVelite II Beige is equipped with two 18 W LED bulbs.
Will an intense lamp work equally well across an entire room?
No. The stated output is measured at a specific distance. Performance across a room is not equivalent to the manufacturer-stated measurement at close range.
Can I look directly into a bright-light lamp?
Use the product only as directed by the manufacturer. Avoid staring directly into bright light sources. If you have eye conditions, take photosensitizing medication or have related concerns, seek individual professional advice before use.

Can TRAVelite II stand in more than one position?
Yes. The TRAVelite II Beige has a versatile stand intended for vertical and horizontal positioning. Use the included instructions for safe setup.
Do the lamps flicker or hum?
The manufacturer describes these models as electronically powered for no flicker or hum. Follow individual product specifications if you are especially sensitive to any lighting characteristics.
Can a light therapy lamp replace medical advice?
